Antonino Fogliani

Conductor

The Italian conductor Antonino Fogliani is an expert in his home country’s repertoire. He has conducted operas by Rossini, Bellini, Donizetti, Verdi and Puccini in renowned opera houses such as the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, Teatro alla Scala in Milan and Semperoper Dresden. Fogliani has been the Music Director for the Rossini Festival in Wildbad since 2012 and Principal Guest Conductor at Deutsche Oper am Rhein since 2017. He has taught orchestral conducting at the conservatoire in Palermo since 2021. In September 2024, he conducted Rigoletto at Dutch National Opera.
