Liza Vjera Lozica
Dutch mezzo-soprano Liza Vjera Lozica is quickly establishing herself as a classical singer with a strong affinity for youth opera. After her debut in the Young Singers Program of the Salzburg Festival in L'enfant et les Sortilèges (2023), she went on to perform at the Bregenz Festival in Gianni Schicchi and Il cambiale di matrimonio (2024), directed by Brigitte Fassbaender.
Since 2024, she has formed a song duo with pianist Maurice Lammerts van Buren, with whom she made her debut in Grote Zangers. In 2025, they released an EP and album on Zefir Records, entirely devoted to the songs of Isaac Albéniz, an artistic project that further strengthens her profile. Liza has collaborated with renowned artists such as Christiane Karg, Malcolm Martineau, Christof Loy, Eva-Maria Westbroek, Sir Willard White, and Edith Wiens.
At Dutch National Opera, Liza previously sang in Be Opera XL (2023) and How Anansi freed the stories of the world (2025). In the 2025/2026 season, she will appear in the new youth production Atman!.
