Madison Horman

Soprano

New Zealand soprano Madison Horman studied at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester (United Kingdom) before continuing her training at the Royal Academy of Music in London. During her studies, she performed roles such as Lady Billows (Albert Herring) and the Countess (Le nozze di Figaro) in Royal Academy Opera productions, and made her Wigmore Hall debut in a masterclass with Roberta Alexander.

Horman has received numerous awards, including the Wellington Regional Aria, the Richard Lewis/Jean Shanks Award for singing, and the Mozart Prize at the Joan Sutherland & Richard Bonynge Bel Canto Award. She also won third prize and the Van Amelsvoort Prize at the International Vocal Competition ’s-Hertogenbosch.

From the 2025–2026 season, Horman will be a member of Dutch National Opera Studio.
