Featured projects
We believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience opera and ballet. That’s why Dutch National Opera & Ballet collaborates with a wide range of partners who, through their diverse programmes, reach (culturally) diverse groups within society. Our partners are essential in helping us connect with new audiences and support us in telling and developing new stories. They also assist in inviting creators, storytellers, and artists for context programmes and other activities. Additionally, we build relationships with schools with significant cultural diversity to support our education and participation programmes.
Collaborations with schools
We collaborate with various schools on customised projects and the development of new initiatives. These partnerships include institutions such as the PABO / Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Praktijkschool de Dreef (Amsterdam-Zuidoost), Spring High (Amsterdam West), Open Scholengemeenschap Bijlmer (Amsterdam-Zuidoost), IJburg College (Amsterdam Oost), Cygnus Gymnasium (Amsterdam Oost), Vossius Gymnasium (Amsterdam Centrum), Hyperion College (Amsterdam Noord), Openbaar Lyceum Zeist, Oostvaarders College (Almere), Elan Onderwijsgroep (Northwest Friesland), OBS Oscar Carré (Amsterdam Zuid), ABBS Elzenhage (Amsterdam Noord), OBS De Carrousel (Heerhugowaard), OBS De Boekmanschool (Amsterdam Centrum), CBS De Wegwijzer (Wijk bij Duurstede), SO Drostenburg (Amsterdam-Zuidoost), and SO De Heldring (Amsterdam Noord).
