Dutch National Ballet on tour in New York

From 20 to 22 November, Dutch National Ballet presented two full-evening programmes at New York City Center, giving a total of four performances.

These performances marked Dutch National Ballet’s first major engagement in New York in over forty years. In the two programmes, the company presented a rich cross-section of its repertoire.

The first programme featured Ted Brandsen’s The Chairman Dances, Wubkje Kuindersma’s Two and Only, Jerome Robbins’ Other Dances, Alexei Ratmansky’s Trio Kagel and Hans van Manen’s Frank Bridge Variations.

In the second programme, Dutch National Ballet performed Hans van Manen’s Adagio Hammerklavier, Mthuthuzeli November’s Thando, Jiří Kylián’s Wings of Wax and Hans van Manen’s 5 Tangos.
